Students will learn about the people and culture of Guatemala, will participate in a service learning experience, will learn/enhance Spanish language skills, and will experience the socio-cultural environment of Guatemala through a homestay with an indigenous family. The program is designed for social work majors or minors or students who are looking for ways to get involved in the variety of agencies and program available in the communities around Lake Atitlán.
Financial aid may be available.
